is scarcity the answer? should urban planning attempt higher density strategies from the outset? i wonder this because i can’t shake out of my head the Pig City project by MVRDV - a thought provoking reinterpretation of how agriculture and lifestock can coexist within a dense urban fabric. that, and because i was underwhelmed by the article’s illustration of urban farming.
